The Language Supportive Textbooks and Pedagogy project (LaST) is one of 26 innovative pilot projects being supported by the Innovation for Education Fund, which is a partnership between the governments of Rwanda and the UK.

The project aims to change the nature of Rwandan textbooks so that they are easier for both learners and teachers, who are learning English as a second language, to read and understand.

The project is led by Bristol University in partnership with the British Council and works with University of Rwanda College of Education and the Rwandan Publishers and Textbook Association.
